Tarr Steps
Probably one of the most famous sights in Exmoor is TARR STEPPS. People come from all over the World to see the huge stones that cross the river Barle. Tarr Steps was built way back before the Romans, and this sight is situated very close to Hunts Farm. It is easily accessible by road or if you prefer, Guided tours are available where a full history will be explained. Just near by is TARR Farm a Restaurant and Bar which serves excellent Lunches and Dinners. Booking is advisable for these tours.
Red Deer
Walking is another activity which Exmoor is renowned for with hundreds of miles of foot paths , outstanding scenery and sites to see.There are many wild animals on Exmoor and one of them is the Majestic Red Deer. If you are lucky when walking you may be fortunate enough to see some grazing or resting in the sun.
Sites to See
There are so many sites to see in Exmoor and Surrounds we could not even start to explain. We however at HUNTS FARM Bed and Breakfast are situated very near the beautiful town of Dulverton which is also a must to put on you list of things to see. When you are there go to the tourist office who will give you so many things to see you will have to stay longer or failing that come back next year. .
